方針[]

オブジェクトショーを追加する前に[]

  1. The maximum amount of shows a part can have is 10. Shows can be added onto the next part only when all previous parts are complete.
  2. Adding shows listed in the waitlist should preferably be prioritized due to the page's size.
  3. Later seasons (e.g. Battle for BFB for Battle for Dream Island), reboots or previous iterations (e.g. Object Multiverse for Journey into the Multiverse and vice-versa), and spinoffs (e.g. Tiny Taco Tales for The Daily Object Show, BFDI Mini for Battle for Dream Island), all from a certain show, must be grouped together in the same section.
    1. This does not apply to fanworks, such as Battle for Space Palace (fanwork of Battle for Dream Island).
  4. Shows added must have at least 3 (due to the possible risk of users spamming shows that might not exist), and at most 300 characters for it to be counted. If it has less than 3 characters, it will be removed, and if it has more than 300, it will be shortened.
  5. Viewer voting series (e.g. Ultimately Large Object Viewer Voting) must have characters original to it to be included (e.g. Stupid Huge Object War). If they do not, they should be added to subpages of Object Show Viewer Votings instead.
  6. Object shows that were confirmed to be hoaxes must be added to Characters in nonexistent object shows.
  7. Leave your ideas for an object show at subpages of Object Show Idea Characters.
  8. All galleries, even one of the shows you add, must put the character roles in this specific order: protagonist, deuteragonist, tritagonist, contestants, debuters, non-contestants, hosts, antagonists, and scrapped characters. Characters with the exact same role must be sorted alphabetically.
    1. If there are multiple characters from the exact same show who share the exact same name, sort them by appearance/creation order.
    2. The galleries must also be in the format <gallery spacing=small widths=100 position=center captionalign=center>.
      1. If the show has so many characters that the readability of the page is hampered, the widths of the images must be 70 pixels, and the format captionsize=small must be added.
  9. Shows with too many debuters, non-contestants, scrapped characters, assistants, or antagonists should have a tab or multiple tabs for them.
    1. Names of the tabs and parentheticals should be in sentence case, not title case.
  10. If there is a character whose name has never been identified, italicize the conjectural name for the character and put the {{Conjectural name}} template on it.
    1. Names and acronyms of shows should be italicized as well.
  11. Provide at least one image of the characters when adding a show. Even low-quality images that are of the character will suffice when the show was just catalogued. If there are no images, the show will be removed.
    1. .jpg images are prohibited as they don't support transparent backgrounds.
      1. Any detected .jpg images should be replaced with .png versions.
    2. All images also must have transparent backgrounds without any parts of the YouTube interface. Use tools like remove.bg to help.
      1. If the images are left non-transparent, the {{Renders Update}} template must be added.
  12. The {{NSFW}} and {{Controversial}} templates must only be added onto shows who contain characters with inappropriate basis, and onto shows created by problematic creators respectively.
  13. Add a link (preferably a whole playlist if it's on YouTube) to the show in the section title.
    1. Even if more information, such as high-quality images are added, the links must be kept for future reference.
  14. Add the creator's name on the platform the show is on, a link to their account, and their username from other parts of the internet (e.g. Fandom, etc.), if known, above the gallery of the show.
    1. Previous names are allowed to be included, but not for ones who don't want them known either on the internet entirely (e.g. Wuggolo), or just on this wiki (e.g. Effy).
      1. If there are too many aliases, it should be shortened into an abbreviated format (e.g. "Created by [name] ([alternate name], and other aliases, [Fandom name] on Fandom.").
  15. Do not add shows or characters from such, or create variations of this article listed in the blacklist.

Before creating a part[]

  1. If the current part isn't finished, don't start the next one too early.
    1. If the next part was created too early, leave it as preserved for a future occasion and move any show from it to the previous part.
  2. Insert the {{ObjectShowCharactersNav}} template after creating a part, and put the previous input of the part in the "input1" slot once inserted. Put the next input of the part in the "input2" slot if the part is finished.

Before creating a variant of this article[]

  1. The category Ideaspaces should only be placed into variants hosting fan-made ideas of characters having proportions.

Blacklist[]

Prohibited shows[]

この一覧にあるものはキャラクターの一覧に追加してはいけない。

Prohibited characters[]

This is a list of characters that should not be added.

  • Fan-made characters (can be added to own list)
  • Bead (Into the Unknown; author request)
  • Dimension (Into the Unknown; author request)

Prohibited article variations[]

This is a list of article variations that should not be created.

  • Object Show Character apartment rooms (too weirdly specific)
  • Object Show Characters by controversial creators (harmful claims about non-notable living people)
  • Object Show Characters with old renders (unnecessary)
  • A subpage for shows that have less than 3 characters (possible risk of users spamming shows that might not exist)
  • Subpages meant to revise a show (e.g. Object Show Characters/p1 but BFDI and II are treated like normal shows; revisions must be always be put in place on the normal subpages)
