In general, you should be fluent in Japanese in order to effectively edit articles. Any kind of machine-translated content must be clearly marked by the {{Machine-translated}} template.
If you are bad at Japanese but would like to contribute, you could do the following:
- Import pages that aren't heavy on text from the English wiki, such as Object Show Characters
- Add interlanguage links.
- Upload missing images.
- Promote this wiki to other Japanese OSC members, if possible.
